About Ian

Ian has spent over 25 years developing new technologies and commercialising them across the Life Science industry for the benefit of patients.

Starting in the medical devices and drug delivery sectors, Ian worked on new product and process development for both big global corporates as well as SME’s and associated investors. Previous positions included CEO of McLaren Applied Technologies and Senior Partner of PA Consulting Group.

More recently he has been focused on the shaping, building, and leading of businesses needed to advance a wide range of technologies in digital health and advanced therapeutics.

In his free time, Ian enjoys family life, road cycling, gardening, and sailing (dingy and offshore keel boats). He likes being outside, keeping active, and connecting with nature.
