eXmoor enter the BIA 850 Global Challenge in aid of kidney research

This April and May, the eXmoor team are excited to be taking part in the BIA 850 Global Challenge in aid of Kidney Research UK.

Our team of five – Kiren Baines, Lenia Retsa, Corinne McEwan, David Vincent and Will Cathery – have been challenged by the BioIndustry Association to run/walk 85km, cycle 850km or swim 8.5km over the course of the two months.

The funds raised by the global effort will go towards Kidney Research UK’s mission to transform the lives of the 850 million people living with kidney disease across the world.

Kidney Research UK is a charity aiming to free lives from the restrictions, fear, anxiety and life limiting nature of kidney disease.

Last year, eXmoor helped the BIA raise over £19,000 for Ovarian Cancer Action as part of the BIA Research Relay. The team had the pleasure to meet representatives from the charity at the BIA Garden Party, where they received an award for their efforts.
