eXmoor Pharma strengthens operational and technical leadership with two appointments

Bristol, UK – 12 May 2026 – We are pleased to share two leadership updates that reflect eXmoor Pharma’s continued focus on building the operational and technical depth to support our next stage of growth.

Emma Ewins has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, joining the Executive Team. Emma joined eXmoor Pharma in 2023 as Head of Production and was appointed Head of GMP in 2024. Over the past two years, she has been leading the build-out of GMP operations at eXmoor’s Cell & Gene Therapy Centre and playing a central role in establishing the company’s clinical manufacturing capability. In her new role, she will lead across Operations and Process Development while continuing to lead the GMP function. Emma brings more than 25 years of experience across manufacturing, CMC, and quality with previous senior roles at Lonza, UCB, BTG and NSF International.

Dr James Miskin, who joined the eXmoor Pharma board in early 2025 as a Non-Executive Director, has taken on an additional role as fractional Chief Technology Officer. James brings more than two decades of technical, strategic and operational leadership experience in cell and gene therapy, having held senior positions at Oxford Biomedica, including Chief Technical Officer. His expanded role builds on the support he already provides to the leadership team and gives eXmoor Pharma additional senior technical input as the business continues to develop. He will work with Lucy Foley and the wider team to help shape technical direction and capability development across the business.
